Lindab Routes

How it started

Lindab was very satisfied with the results of the first project, and the collaboration continued with a new one. We worked closely together to design and implement a suite of applications that manage and automate the work of their delivery department.

What we built and delivered covers the whole path an order takes: registering it, packing it, and getting the goods to the client.

The back office application

Used by the office team on the web, to:

• Import the orders from Lindab's main system
• Group those orders efficiently into delivery routes
• Receive real-time notifications about packaging and delivery errors
• Analyse the entire department's activity by reviewing the reports

The tablet application

Used by the team members who handle the goods, to work through the orders by:

• Lifting and packing products held across different sections
• Creating and printing the labels for each package
• Delivering the packages to the right sections
