Delete your Lume account
Lume — your day, lit up. Published by Envoolab.
The quickest way: from the app
Open Settings in Lume and choose Delete account. It takes effect immediately — there is no waiting period and nothing to confirm by email.
If you no longer have the app
Email privacy@envoolab.com from the address your account uses, with the subject Delete my account. We delete it and reply to confirm, normally within a few days and always within 30 days.
We ask you to write from the account’s own address because that address is the only thing identifying the account — Lume has no password to check you against, by design.
What gets deleted
Everything we hold for the account, permanently and without a recovery window:
- the account itself and the email address on it
- every device enrolled on it
- your encrypted backup and any data waiting to sync between your devices
- encrypted photos stored for syncing
- push-notification tokens
- any Pro time granted by a voucher
We cannot restore any of it afterwards, and we could not read it beforehand: what Lume stores for you is encrypted on your device with a key we never receive.
What happens on your device
Nothing stays. Deleting your account in the app also erases the planner on that device — your agendas, habits, journal, photos, reminders and settings — and Lume starts over as if it had just been installed. You can set it up again with a new account whenever you like.
If you ask us by email instead, your devices are not touched: uninstall the app, or clear its data in your device settings, to remove what is on them. Once the account is deleted, no copy of anything remains with us either way.
One thing worth knowing first
If you use Lume on more than one device, deleting the account destroys the encrypted backup they share. Your other devices keep whatever they already hold, but one that has not synced recently cannot be brought up to date afterwards, and a new device cannot be set up from your old data.
